The Food was Excellent
Beautiful setting for our event with plenty of room to roam. They had multiple activities to keep everyone involved and having fun. Corn hole, giant jenga and connect four were a few lawn games available. Pictures were easy to stage in front of the wagon and bandstand. The food was excellent including the brisket. Perfect time had by all.

Do we have exclusive use of the Ranch?
Yes. The Ranch is the ideal setting to mix and mingle in a relaxed and private atmosphere.
How far in advance should we secure the Ranch?
Booking up to a year in advance isn’t uncommon, but 3–5 months out is recommended.
How many people can you accommodate?
Faulkner’s Ranch can accommodate groups of up to 1,200 for an indoor/outdoor picnic.
Can we bring our own food and alcohol or hire our own DJ?
We don’t allow outside food, beverages and entertainment.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Your event coordinator can assist you to determine what menu items meet their requirements. You will report your dietary restrictions when your final guest count is due.
What if it rains?
Our outdoor pavilion and indoor banquet barn provides space in case of inclement weather. We pull out all the stops to keep your guests entertained. Line dancing, Bingo and Cow Milking Contests are just a few indoor options to wait out the storm!
Can our picnic last longer than 3 hours?
Our packages are 3 hour events; however, you may work with your event coordinator to plan a longer picnic. We suggest adding more Ranch Specialties to keep your guests well entertained.
Are our guests and your activities insured?
Faulkner’s Ranch is a licensed catering establishment and has full liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
Can I visit the Ranch?
Of course! An Event Coordinator will be happy to give you a tour Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Please call 816-761-5055 to set up a tour.
We also encourage folks to visit the ranch during our two public events: Spring Round Up and Pumpkin Festival.
How do we secure the date and time?
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total event costs and a signed contract is required to reserve the date and time. The deposit will be applied to the final invoice.
When is the final headcount and payment due?
A final guest count is due 14 business days before the event. An invoice is prepared based on the guest count and is payable prior to or the day of the picnic.
Does the price include tax and gratuity?
The Missouri Sales Tax rate of 8.6% and 15% gratuity will be added to your final bill. A 2% Kansas City Food and Beverage Tax is added to the food and beverage totals only
