Do we have exclusive use of the Ranch?
Yes. The Ranch is the ideal setting to mix and mingle in a relaxed and private atmosphere.
How far in advance should we secure the Ranch?
Booking up to a year in advance isn’t uncommon, but 3-5 months out is recommended.
How many people can you accommodate?
Faulkner’s Ranch can accommodate groups of up to 1,200 for an indoor/outdoor picnic. Larger groups may require tenting.
What does “Turn Key Facility” mean?
Faulkner’s Ranch will provide the facility, food, beverage, and entertainment, as well as all set up and cleanup for your event.
Can we bring our own food and alcohol or hire our own DJ?
No, but that’s one of the great benefits of Turn Key. Our food is prepared fresh on site and our bartenders are trained and licensed. The Ranch J Entertainer knows our facility and how to the keep the fun going at Faulkner’s Ranch!
Can you accommodate vegetarians or those who are gluten free?
Yes. Your event coordinator can assist you in which menu items meet these requirements.
What if it rains?
Our outdoor pavilion and indoor banquet barn provides space in case of inclement weather. We pull out all the stops to keep your guests entertained. Line dancing, Bingo and Cow Milking Contest are just a few indoor options to wait out the storm!
Can our picnic last longer than 3 hours?
Our packages are 3 hour events; however, you may work with your event coordinator to plan a longer picnic. We suggest adding more Ranch Specialties to keep your guests well entertained.
Are our guests and your activities insured?
Faulkner’s Ranch has full liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
Can I visit the Ranch?
Of course! An Event Coordinator will be happy to give you a tour Monday through Saturday during regular business hours.

An Event Coordinator can also prepare a more specific proposal once you have determined the desired package, date, time, and number of guests you anticipate.

How do we secure the date and time?
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 is required to secure the date and time and will be applied to your final invoice. A signed event agreement is also required.
When is the final guest count and payment due?
A final guest count is due five business days before the event. This guest count may be raised but not lowered up to one day prior to the picnic. An invoice is prepared based on the final guest count and is payable the day of the picnic.
Does the price include tax and gratuity?
The Missouri Sales Tax rate of 8.6% and 15% gratuity will be added to your final bill. A 2% Kansas City Food and Beverage Tax is added to the food and beverage totals only.
