How many guests can Faulkner's Ranch accommodate for wedding receptions?

A comfortable group size for weddings and receptions at Faulkner's Ranch is 200 or less.

When can I visit the Ranch to view the facility and further discuss the details of my special day?

A Faulkner's Ranch event coordinator will be happy to schedule a half hour consultation and tour of the ranch Monday - Saturday during regular business hours. After your site inspection, a customized proposal will be prepared and sent to you for your consideration. You will need to provide the following information to your event coordinator: requested date, time, guest count, menu selection, and preferred bar situation.

What does turn-key facility mean?

Faulkner's Ranch not only provides the space but the food, beverage, and entertainment as well.

Do you allow outside catering?

We do not allow outside catering. All food and beverages served at your receptions must be purchased through Faulkner's Ranch with the exception of wedding cake, mints, and nuts.

Can I bring alcohol on to the premises?

All alcohol must be purchased from and served by Ranch staff. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought onto the premises, nor may it be consumed on any part of the Ranch. If alcohol is brought onto the Ranch by you or your guests it will be confiscated and may result in the immediate ending of your event.

Who provides the DJ?

Faulkner's Ranch works exclusively with one of KC's biggest DJ companies. Our dj's know our facility and understand the expectations of the quality of wedding entertainment that Faulkner's Ranch is known for.

What is required to reserve the Ranch?

A signed activity confirmation and $1000.00 non-refundable deposit are required to reserve a date and time. Under no circumstance will the deposit be refunded. The $1000.00 deposit is applied towards the final invoice.

When is the final payment due?

The final payment is due the Monday before the event. At that time the final headcount is due as well. Host bars will be tallied at the conclusion of the event and the bar shall be paid in full at that time.

What is included in the base facility fee?

Pricing is based on a four hour event. An additional hour may be purchased during your reception. Facility set-up, clean-up, standard round tables and chairs,parking assistance, and an on-site event manager are included in the base facility charge.

What is included in the wedding ceremony site fee?

Elegant ranch wedding ceremonies are scheduled one hour prior to the start time of your reception and can take place at the wedding arbor or under the pavilion. The ceremony site fee includes the set-up and tear-down of the standard seating. Chairs may be upgraded for an additional charge.

When can I arrive at the ranch for my wedding and reception?

Wedding parties can access the facility two hours prior to the ceremony start time. Faulkner's Ranch reserves the right to schedule other events on the date you have reserved. In this instance, Faulkner's Ranch staff will assist with the installation of your decor. If there is no event scheduled prior to yours, wedding parities can access the facility three hours prior to the ceremony start time. We recommend you arrive at the Ranch mostly ready and have space available for the Bride to put on her dress. Take down and removal of your decorations must be completed within one-half hour after the end of your contracted time.

When can we rehearse our wedding ceremony?

Faulkner's Ranch will schedule your one hour rehearsal one month prior to your ceremony based on availability. Most rehearsals are scheduled from 5:00pm - 6:00pm on the Thursday prior to the ceremony.
